Soft sculpture by Laura Jacquemond in Rhone-alpes, France.

“I spend lots of time searching through decorator shops’ remnant baskets, flea markets, second hand shops for the perfect texture of lace, piece of vintage fabric, or color of abandoned plate to cut up for a mosaic.

Inspiration comes from ancient art as an expression of the sacred, natural history, folklore, tales of mystery and magic, and legends, especially those in which we find helping creatures and animals.”

this reminds me that I am always looking for bug plushes
